Litigation Associate Attorney

Job Overview:
A prestigious law firm based in Los Angeles, CA, is currently seeking an Associate Attorney with 2-3 years of experience in litigation to join its growing team. This role will focus on a range of consumer products-related matters, including but not limited to Proposition 65 issues, false advertising claims, consumer class actions, and product liability cases. The ideal candidate will have strong research, writing, and deposition skills and will thrive in a dynamic, hands-on litigation environment.

Duties:

• Handle a variety of litigation matters, particularly related to consumer products, Proposition 65, false advertising, class actions, and product liability.
• Draft and file motions, pleadings, and other legal documents.
• Conduct research and analysis on complex legal issues.
• Participate in depositions, hearings, and trials.
• Provide legal support and strategy development throughout all phases of litigation.
• Communicate with clients and assist in building case strategies.
• Work collaboratively with senior attorneys and other legal professionals in managing caseloads.

Requirements:

• 2-3 years of litigation experience, with a focus on consumer products or related fields.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience with motion writing and legal research.
• Experience with taking and defending depositions.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
• A proactive attitude with excellent attention to detail.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Membership in the California State Bar, active and in good standing.

Skills:

• Exceptional legal research and writing abilities.
• Knowledge and experience in motion practice, depositions, and trial preparation.
• Understanding of consumer product regulations and related litigation.
• Proficiency with legal research tools and technology.
• Ability to analyze and present complex legal issues.
