Location:

Duties:

• Handle domestic and cross-border mergers, acquisitions, restructurings, buyouts, joint ventures, and strategic alliances.

• Provide tax guidance for private equity and hedge funds.

• Advise on real estate and REIT taxation matters.

• Work on complex capital markets transactions, including structured notes.

• Address issues related to bankruptcy and workouts.

• Manage structured finance and securitization projects.

• Assist with leasing, lending, and project finance transactions.

Requirements:

• 1-3 years of experience in a broad-based federal transactional tax practice.

• Proven ability to work on mergers, acquisitions, private equity, and strategic transactions.

• Strong work ethic and leadership skills.

• Ability to communicate complex matters concisely and effectively, both orally and in writing.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the state bar where the candidate will be practicing.

Skills:

• Expertise in federal tax law and transactional matters.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
