Duties

• Develop and implement legal strategies for a variety of cases and matters.
• Conduct detailed legal research and analysis.
• Manage and handle cases independently from inception to resolution.
• Prepare, draft, and file pleadings, legal documents, and related materials.
• Provide legal counsel and advice to clients on various disputes.
• Cultivate and maintain client relationships and manage client interactions ethically.
• Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, arbitrations, and before government agencies.
• Oversee depositions and discovery processes.
• Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients.
• Track and adhere to all relevant legal deadlines and requirements.

Requirements

• Active license to practice law in Colorado.
• 6-8 years of professional legal experience in civil litigation.
• Strong critical thinking and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated experience with court appearances and depositions.
• Familiarity with legal practice management software, preferably Clio.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Must be licensed to practice law in Colorado.
