Location:

Duties:

• Manage insurance defense cases from inception through resolution

• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and legal memoranda

• Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, depositions, and arbitrations

• Develop and execute litigation strategies aligned with client objectives

• Oversee all aspects of discovery, including depositions, expert coordination, and document management

• Communicate regularly with clients regarding case updates, legal strategy, and risk management

• Engage in settlement discussions and negotiate favorable outcomes with opposing counsel and adjusters

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2–4 years of experience in insurance defense litigation

• Proven ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines independently

• Strong understanding of Missouri civil procedure and court rules

• Demonstrated success in client advocacy and litigation results

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in the state of Missouri

• Member in good standing with the Missouri State Bar

Skills:

• Strong analytical and legal problem-solving skills

• Excellent written and oral advocacy skills
