Mid-Level or Senior Corporate Associate Attorney

A law firm in New York City, NY, is seeking a Mid-Level or Senior Corporate Associate Attorney to join its team. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in corporate law, with substantial exposure to capital markets and/or bank lending transactions. Experience in acquisition finance and related commitment processes is preferable. The role requires excellent oral and written communication skills, a strong academic background, and admission to the New York Bar.

Duties:

• Advise clients on corporate transactions, including acquisition finance and related commitment processes.
• Handle capital markets and bank lending transactions, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
• Draft, review, and negotiate corporate agreements, including financing documents and transaction-related contracts.
• Conduct legal research and provide strategic advice on corporate and financial matters.
• Collaborate with clients, financial institutions, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth transaction processes.
• Manage and coordinate multiple projects, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
• Provide guidance on corporate governance and regulatory compliance issues.
• Stay updated on industry trends and legal developments in corporate finance and capital markets.

Requirements:

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the New York Bar.
• 3+ years of experience in corporate law, with significant exposure to capital markets and/or bank lending transactions.
• Experience in acquisition finance and related commitment processes is highly desirable.
• Strong academic background and a proven track record in corporate legal practice.
