A law firm in Chicago, IL is seeking an Associate Attorney to handle day-to-day legal tasks, support senior attorneys, and assist with client meetings. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and research skills and an active Bar license in Illinois.

Duties:

• Conduct legal research to support case preparation and legal strategies.
• Draft and review legal documents, including motions, pleadings, and briefs.
• Assist senior attorneys with case management and legal analysis.
• Support attorneys in client meetings by preparing necessary documentation and providing legal insights.
• Manage day-to-day legal tasks, including maintaining case files and tracking deadlines.
• Collaborate with other legal professionals and support staff to ensure efficient case management.
• Attend court proceedings and client meetings as needed.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active Bar license in the state of Illinois.
• Strong analytical and research skills.
• Previous experience in a law firm or legal setting is preferred.

Certifications:

• Admission to the Illinois Bar (required).
