An established law firm in Kansas City, MO, is seeking a skilled Insurance Coverage Litigation Attorney with a minimum of five years of experience to join its Litigation and Dispute Resolution practice group. This role involves managing various stages of complex commercial litigation with a focus on insurance coverage disputes in the commercial sector.

Duties:

• Conduct comprehensive legal research and case analysis.
• Prepare and draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other essential legal documents.
• Represent clients at court appearances, depositions, mediations, and arbitrations.
• Oversee and prioritize a diverse caseload, working closely with senior attorneys.
• Collaborate in strategic discussions and case planning, aligning with overall client goals.
• Maintain effective communication with clients, opposing counsel, judges, and other key parties.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in the Missouri State Bar.
• 5+ years of experience, preferably in commercial insurance coverage litigation.
• Proficiency in managing litigation from initial investigation to resolution.

Education:

• Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited institution.

Certifications:

• Missouri State Bar admission is required.
