Job Overview: A law firm in Los Angeles, CA is seeking Mid-level and Senior Real Estate Associate Attorney with substantial experience in real estate transactions. The ideal candidates will have expertise in mortgage/mezzanine debt, joint-venture equity work, acquisitions and dispositions, or development. Duties:

• Advise clients on real estate transactions, including mortgage and mezzanine debt, joint-venture equity, acquisitions, dispositions, and development projects.
• Draft, negotiate, and review transaction documents such as loan agreements, joint-venture agreements, purchase and sale agreements, and development contracts.
• Conduct due diligence and review title, survey documents, and other relevant materials.
• Provide strategic guidance on regulatory compliance and risk management in real estate matters.
• Manage complex projects and deadlines while ensuring high-quality legal work.
• Foster professional development and mentorship for junior attorneys and support staff.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to achieve optimal transaction outcomes.

Requirements:

• Extensive experience in one or more of the following areas: mortgage/mezzanine debt, joint-venture equity, acquisitions and dispositions, and/or development.
• A strong background in real estate transactions or relevant non-real estate transactional experience.
• A commitment to professional growth, mentorship, and maintaining a positive work culture.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the California State Bar.

Skills:

• In-depth knowledge of real estate law and transactional practices.
