A law firm in New York City is seeking a Capital Markets Managing Associate Attorney to join their team. The successful candidate will have 2-5 years of legal experience in structured finance, including expertise in purchase and sale transactions, servicing agreements, and financing transactions. The role involves representing various clients such as banks, finance companies, private equity funds, hedge funds, and public and private companies. The position requires drafting and negotiating transaction documents, communicating with clients and counterparties, and working collaboratively to manage closings. Outstanding oral and written communication skills are essential. The candidate must be licensed to practice law in the State of New York and be in good standing.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Represent purchasers, sellers, servicers, creditors, and borrowers in structured finance transactions, including purchase and sale transactions, servicing agreements, and financing transactions.
• Draft and negotiate primary transaction documents and agreements.
• Communicate with clients and transaction counterparties to facilitate transactions.
• Collaborate with team members to manage and execute closings effectively.
• Support the practice with various tasks as needed.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and regulations affecting structured finance.

Requirements:

• 2-5 years of legal experience in structured finance.
• Experience with purchase and sale transactions, servicing agreements, and financing transactions.
• Outstanding oral and written communication skills.
• Must be licensed to practice law in the State of New York and be in good standing.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Strong academic performance in relevant areas of law.

Certifications:

• Admission to the State Bar of New York and good standing.

Skills:

• Excellent drafting and negotiating skills for transaction documents.
• Strong client communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively and manage transaction closings efficiently.
• Proficiency in managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.
• Detailed understanding of structured finance transactions and related legal issues.
