Partner-level Insurance Defense Litigation Attorney

Profile

A law firm specializing in insurance defense litigation seeks a highly experienced attorney to join as a Partner. This role offers the opportunity to work remotely from home while handling complex litigation matters primarily related to trucking and premises liability cases. The ideal candidate will be a licensed member of the Texas Bar with a strong background in insurance defense work, aiming to bill a minimum of 165 hours per month consistently.

Duties:

• Manage a caseload of complex insurance defense litigation matters, focusing on trucking and premises liability cases.
• Provide strategic legal advice and guidance to clients throughout all stages of litigation.
• Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and other legal documents.
• Attend court hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials as required.
• Collaborate effectively with clients, colleagues, and experts to achieve favorable outcomes.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in good standing with the State Bar of Texas.
• Minimum 8 years of demonstrated experience practicing insurance defense litigation.
• Proven track record of billing at least 165 hours per month.
• Strong background in handling trucking and premises liability cases is highly preferred.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the State Bar of Texas.
