Job Title: Immigration Associate Attorney

A well-regarded law firm located in Hollywood, FL is seeking a dedicated Immigration Associate to join its legal team on a full-time, in-office basis. The role focuses primarily on family-based and humanitarian immigration matters, including removal defense. Duties:
Represent clients in a range of immigration matters including family-based petitions, humanitarian relief, and removal defense
Manage a high-volume caseload with attention to detail and strategic planning
Prepare and file petitions, applications, motions, and legal briefs before USCIS and EOIR
Conduct legal research and draft supporting memoranda for complex immigration matters
Attend court hearings, USCIS interviews, and represent clients in other administrative proceedings
Communicate regularly with clients, government agencies, and stakeholders
Collaborate with legal and administrative staff to ensure timely progress on cases
Maintain current knowledge of immigration laws and policy developments
Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years of experience practicing immigration law with direct exposure to family-based, humanitarian, and removal defense matters
License to practice law in any U.S. state (active and in good standing)
Fluent in English and Spanish (both written and spoken)
Strong legal writing, case analysis, and courtroom advocacy skills
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
High level of professionalism and empathy in client interactions
Education:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school
Certifications:
Admission to practice in at least one U.S. jurisdiction (no specific State Bar required)
Skills:
Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish
Advanced legal research and drafting abilities
Case management and organizational efficiency
Clear verbal and written communication
Knowledge of EOIR and USCIS procedures
Client-focused approach with cultural sensitivity
