A leading law firm in Las Vegas is seeking a dedicated Immigration Attorney to join their growing team. The successful candidate will represent clients in removal proceedings, prepare immigration applications, and work closely with a dynamic team of attorneys and legal assistants to deliver high-quality legal services.

Location:

• Las Vegas, NV

Duties:

• Explain immigration concepts and provide strategic legal solutions to clients
• Represent non-detained and detained individuals in removal proceedings before the Immigration Court and Board of Immigration Appeals
• Manage a caseload and ensure timely progress on cases
• Conduct intake interviews with detained individuals at detention centers
• Prepare and file a variety of immigration applications, including removal defense and family-based immigration petitions
• Review and adjust immigration applications and packets as necessary
• Collaborate with law enforcement, prosecutorial offices, and community-based organizations on immigration law updates and changes
• Meet with potential clients for strategic consultations and determine appropriate legal strategy
• Develop strategies and prepare clients and witnesses for court and USCIS testimony
• Provide legal analysis to identify potential case benefits for clients
• Draft and submit legal briefs for various immigration cases

Requirements:

• 1 to 4 years of immigration law experience
• Ability to manage and prioritize a caseload effectively
• Strong interpersonal skills with a client-focused approach
• Preferably bilingual in English/Spanish
• Experience with Family-Based Petitions, Humanitarian Relief, EOIR, Detained cases, Citizenship, and USCIS applications
• Familiarity with case management software is preferred

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active Bar membership in any U.S. jurisdiction

Skills:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to analyze and strategize complex immigration cases
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment
