Profile

A law firm specializing in personal injury litigation seeks a Senior Personal Injury Litigation Attorney to manage complex cases, oversee trials, and negotiate settlements on behalf of clients.

Duties:

• Manage a caseload of personal injury litigation cases from inception to resolution.
• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery, and other legal documents.
• Communicate regularly with clients, insurance companies, and other parties involved in cases.
• Evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of cases through investigation and legal analysis.
• Prepare cases for trial, including developing trial strategy, conducting depositions, and selecting expert witnesses.
• Represent clients in court proceedings, including trials, hearings, mediations, and arbitrations.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Member of the Georgia Bar in good standing with 6+ years of litigation experience.
• Proven track record of handling personal injury litigation cases, including trial experience (7-10 trials preferred).
• Expertise in evaluating claims, negotiating settlements, and managing client expectations.
• Strong negotiation skills with the ability to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proactive problem-solving approach with attention to detail.
• Collaborative and team-oriented work style.

Certifications and Skills:

• Membership in relevant legal associations preferred.
• Proficiency in legal research tools and litigation software.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
