Duties

• Advise clients on environmental compliance, including site remediation, waste management, air emissions, wastewater discharges, and chemical regulations

• Conduct legal research and prepare legal memoranda

• Assist with transactional due diligence

• Provide support for environmental litigation cases

• Communicate with government agencies regarding compliance and permitting matters

Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience in environmental law, including regulatory, litigation, transactional, and policy aspects

• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills

• Licensed to practice law in Michigan

• Indicate preferred office location in the cover letter

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Active bar membership in Michigan
