A law firm is seeking a Regulatory Investigations, Strategy, and Enforcement Associate Attorney to join its dynamic team in Irvine, CA. This position involves handling state and federal regulatory litigation, including consumer class litigation and administrative litigation. The ideal candidate will bring 3-6 years of litigation experience, with a strong foundation in federal court practice and exceptional analytical and communication skills.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Represent clients in state and federal regulatory litigation, including challenges against federal regulatory agencies and state Attorneys General.
  • Handle spinoff consumer class litigation and Administrative Procedure Act challenges.
  • Conduct comprehensive legal research and draft high-quality legal documents, including briefs, motions, and pleadings.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and clients to develop litigation strategies and case management plans.
  • Attend hearings, depositions, and trials as necessary, providing advocacy and legal representation.
  • Analyze complex regulatory issues and provide strategic advice to clients.
  • Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and legal precedents to ensure informed representation.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • 3-6 years of litigation experience, preferably in regulatory or administrative law.
  • Clerkship experience is strongly preferred.
  • Must be licensed and in good standing with the California State Bar.
