The attorney will manage family law cases, including divorce, custody disputes, and protective orders while working in a hybrid environment. Duties:

• Manage a full caseload of family law cases, including divorce, custody, and premarital agreements
• Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, and prepare motions
• Collaborate with legal staff to ensure case progression
• Handle settlement negotiations, mediation, and court appearances
• Develop case strategies in line with client goals
• Represent clients in family law litigation, from the initial stages through trial
• Maintain detailed records and documentation for each case
• Stay updated on relevant family law regulations and court procedures
• Provide compassionate counsel to clients, keeping them informed at each step
• Attend team meetings and strategy sessions to collaborate with colleagues

Requirements:

• Minimum 3+ years of family law litigation experience
• Strong background in managing cases from start to finish
• Excellent oral advocacy and negotiation skills
• Proficient in legal writing and case strategy development
• Ability to meet billable hour and revenue targets
• Familiarity with court rules and procedures
• Exceptional ability to handle sensitive information professionally
• Comfortable working in a hybrid environment with a flexible schedule

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree
• Licensed to practice law in Utah (Utah Bar license required)

Certifications:

• Active membership in good standing with the Utah State Bar

Skills:
