Duties

• Monitor, identify, and advise clients on changes in regulatory and compliance standards.
• Handle a range of legal matters related to investment adviser and broker-dealer regulations.
• Provide guidance on compliance issues, investment vehicles, and industry best practices.
• Draft, review, and revise advisory agreements and other related documents.
• Offer support on business matters and interact with senior management and clients professionally.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of legal experience related to investment management, securities, or financial services.
• Prior experience as a law firm associate or in-house legal/compliance role.
• Knowledge of regulations governing registered investment advisers, broker-dealers, hedge funds, private equity, and alternative assets.
• Strong negotiation, drafting, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to produce high-quality written work and communicate effectively with clients.
• Familiarity with laws related to UCITS funds, the Securities Exchange Act, and FINRA regulations.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Membership in the New Jersey Bar.
