Job Title: Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDA) Attorney
Job Overview:
A New York City-based law firm is seeking a dedicated attorney to support a high-volume NDA review practice aligned with the transactional activity of a global alternative asset management client. This position centers on drafting and negotiating confidentiality agreements by detailed client protocols. The role requires frequent interaction with clients and external parties and operates in a collaborative, fast-paced environment under a hybrid schedule.
Duties:
Draft and negotiate non-disclosure agreements aligned with client-specific standards and policies
Serve as a liaison between the legal team and external stakeholders regarding NDA terms
Maintain responsibility for high volumes of NDA requests with accuracy and timeliness
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure consistency and alignment with client expectations
Address comments and revisions from counterparties, often under time-sensitive conditions
Track the progress of agreements and support internal documentation and compliance procedures
Participate in video, phone, and conference calls with clients and third parties to resolve open issues
Requirements:
Active license to practice law in New York State
Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in reviewing, drafting, or negotiating NDAs or similar commercial contracts
Strong command of legal principles applicable to confidentiality agreements in financial transactions
Availability to work extended hours when necessary to meet tight deadlines
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic and high-pressure setting
Prior experience working with institutional clients, particularly in the finance or investment sectors, is preferred
Education:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
Certifications:
Admission to the New York State Bar (mandatory)
Skills:
Precision in legal drafting and attention to nuance in contract language
Strong written communication skills for preparing internal and client-facing memoranda
Confident oral communication abilities, especially in professional discussions via video or conference calls
Strong organizational and time-management skills to oversee concurrent deadlines
Ability to quickly interpret complex legal and commercial concepts
Professional demeanor and responsiveness in client communications
