Duties:

• Represent clients in civil litigation matters, focusing on medical malpractice or insurance defense cases.
• Conduct legal research, and prepare pleadings, motions, and discovery responses.
• Assist with the preparation and execution of trial strategies.
• Handle client communications, providing regular updates on case progress.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys to refine litigation strategies.
• Participate in depositions, hearings, and settlement negotiations.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of legal developments in the practice areas of focus.

Requirements:

• Admission to the Maryland Bar is required; D.C. Bar admission is a plus.
• Litigation experience, with a focus on either medical malpractice or insurance coverage defense.
• Strong analytical, research, and writing skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage a caseload and prioritize tasks efficiently.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the Maryland Bar is required.
• D.C. Bar Admission is preferred.
