The candidate will provide advice to clients in a variety of industries. Lead and manage client projects. Support marketing by participating in training, and drafting articles and blogs. Research, write, and review advice. Aid in the management, career development, and training of team members. Provide leadership to associates and law clerks and assist in reviewing their work. Must have expertise in the following: detention/seizure cases, IPR penalty cases, liquidated damages/penalty cases, responses to CBP Form 4647, CBP 28/29 and protests, prior disclosures, HTS classification, binding ruling request submissions, CTPAT, and FTZ/Bonded warehouse applications. Must be a member in good standing in any state Bar. A portable book of business is a plus (with a hefty origination bonus).
