Job Overview: A law firm specializing in professional liability defense seeks a motivated and detail-oriented attorney to join our team in Roseland, NJ. The ideal candidate will have a passion for handling a variety of professional liability cases, including attorney malpractice, broker errors and omissions, and accountant malpractice.

Job Duties:

• Provide legal representation to clients in professional liability defense matters.
• Conduct legal research and analysis on complex issues related to professional liability claims.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
• Manage discovery and participate in deposition and trial preparation.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and courts.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the New Jersey State Bar; additional admissions in neighboring states a plus.
• 1-3 years of experience practicing law, preferably focusing on professional liability defense or related fields.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent writing, research, and oral communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.

Preferred Certifications:

• Certification in professional liability or related practice areas.

Skills:

• Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
• Demonstrated ability to handle a diverse caseload efficiently.
• Strong negotiation and advocacy skills.
