Duties:

• Handling a high volume of general liability defense litigation cases.
• Drafting and reviewing pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
• Conducting depositions and preparing witnesses.
• Attending court hearings, trials, and mediations.
• Engaging in settlement negotiations.
• Conducting legal research and staying current with developments in general liability law.
• Collaborating with team members to develop case strategies.
• Maintaining regular communication with clients, providing updates and legal advice.
• Managing case files from inception through resolution.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of general liability defense litigation experience.
• Excellent verbal communication and writing skills.
• Strong ability to work collaboratively with team members.
• Must have, or be willing and able to obtain, admission to the Massachusetts Bar.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the Bar in Massachusetts (preferred) or willingness to obtain admission.
