Paralegal: Civil/PI

Job Summary:
We seek a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to join our team. The Legal Assistant will provide administrative support to our legal team and assist with various legal tasks. The ideal candidate will have experience in paralegal work, document review, and legal research.

Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys with legal research, document preparation, and case management
- Conduct document review and analysis using iManage or other document management systems
- Prepare and proofread legal documents, including contracts, briefs, and pleadings
- Organize and maintain legal files and documents
- Schedule appointments, meetings, and court hearings
- Coordinate communication between attorneys, clients, and other parties involved in legal matters
- Perform general administrative tasks such as answering phone calls, managing emails, and filing documents
- Conduct interviews with clients or witnesses to gather information for cases

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Legal Assistant or similar role
- Knowledge of legal administrative procedures and terminology
- Proficiency in proofreading and writing legal documents
- Familiarity with legal research tools such as Westlaw
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficiency in using document management systems like iManage

Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour (DOE)
