Location:

Duties:

• Manage and litigate securities-related cases

• Draft legal briefs, motions, and discovery documents

• Conduct legal research to support litigation strategies

• Take and defend depositions, including witness interviews

• Provide counsel to clients regarding litigation strategies

• Work closely with senior attorneys and clients to develop case strategy

• Prepare for hearings and trials, handling all necessary case documentation and presentation

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in securities litigation

• Strong background in drafting legal briefs, conducting legal research, and managing discovery processes

• Experience in taking and defending depositions

• Familiarity with the financial industry and securities regulations

• Strong writing, oral advocacy, and organizational skills

• Outstanding academic credentials

• Admission to the New York Bar (preferred)

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active membership in the New York State Bar or eligibility to become licensed

Skills:

• Excellent legal writing and communication abilities

• Strong research and analytical skills

• Ability to manage complex litigation cases

• Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple cases effectively
