A law firm in Newport Beach is seeking a Senior Family Law Associate Attorney.

Job Overview: The Senior Family Law Associate Attorney will be responsible for managing a caseload of complex family law matters, representing clients in court proceedings, negotiating settlements, and providing legal advice and counsel.

Duties:

• Manage a caseload of family law matters, including divorce, child custody, spousal support, and property division.
• Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, and settlement negotiations.
• Conduct legal research, draft legal documents, and prepare pleadings and motions.
• Provide legal advice and counsel to clients on family law issues.
• Collaborate with other attorneys and staff members on case strategy and client representation.
• Attend continuing legal education courses and stay updated on changes in family law.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active Bar admission in the state of California.
• 5+ years of experience practicing family law, with a focus on complex litigation matters.
• Strong litigation and negotiation skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Commitment to providing high-quality legal representation and excellent client service.

Education and Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active Bar admission in the state of California.
