Job Overview: A law firm in Brunswick, GA, seeks a Worker's Compensation Attorney to manage and represent clients in workers' compensation cases. The ideal candidate will handle all aspects of client case management from initial contact to resolution, ensuring effective communication, diligent case preparation, and adherence to legal standards.

Job Duties:

• Open new client files and initiate initial client contact, maintaining regular communication throughout the case.
• Conduct thorough investigations for each case, analyzing intake information and relevant documents and inputting pertinent data into the case management database.
• Verify insurance coverage and liability issues, maintaining consistent communication with insurance companies.
• Manage clients' medical care by scheduling and calendaring medical appointments, explaining procedures, and ensuring clients receive necessary documentation.
• Continuously monitor case status, reviewing and summarizing medical records and other pertinent information.
• Organize and maintain case files, preparing them for submission to demand writers and ensuring completeness and accuracy.
• Collaborate with demand writers to draft and finalize settlement demands.
• Provide excellent customer service, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills in all client interactions.
• Work effectively in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, demonstrating strong time management and organizational skills.
• Maintain confidentiality of client information and case details.
• Work independently and collaboratively within a team environment, fostering positive relationships with clients, field associates, and vendors.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2+ years of experience practicing Workers' Compensation law.
• JD from an accredited university and admission to the GA Bar.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Basic understanding of medical and insurance terminology preferred.
• Spanish language proficiency is a plus.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
