A law firm seeks a dedicated and experienced Personal Injury Litigation Attorney to join its growing team in Houston, Texas. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering exceptional results for clients while providing compassionate legal support. This is a full-time position that offers the opportunity to manage a variety of personal injury cases from start to finish, including negotiations and courtroom representation when needed.

Duties:

• Meet with clients to gather case details, offering support and understanding throughout the legal process.
• Build trust with clients by demonstrating empathy and ensuring open communication.
• Provide clients with regular updates on their case progress.
• Collaborate with insurance companies to discuss the status of claims, demands, and offers.
• Assess and evaluate claims to determine the best legal approach.
• Lead negotiations to reach favorable settlements for clients.
• Prepare cases for trial, including drafting legal documents and gathering necessary evidence.
• Serve as the primary attorney in trial proceedings, including first-chair trial duties when applicable.
• Manage a caseload independently, ensuring all legal documentation is well-organized and deadlines are met.
• Work effectively within a team, collaborating with colleagues to strategize and problem-solve on cases.

Requirements:

• Full-time availability.
• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Minimum of 6 years of litigation experience in personal injury law.
• First-chair trial experience is required.
• Admission to the Texas Bar and in good standing.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
• Strong background in evaluating and managing claims.
• Excellent negotiation skills with a proven track record of successful outcomes.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities.
• Proactive problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented approach to legal work.
• Ability to work independently in an office setting while also being team-oriented.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the Texas Bar in good standing.

Skills:
