Duties:

• Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of construction contracts including EPC, EPCM, BOP, equipment supply, and operation and maintenance agreements.
• Manage and supervise a team of junior associates and legal staff.
• Collaborate with partners to strategize and execute legal projects and initiatives.
• Provide expert legal advice on construction-related issues and disputes.
• Analyze and synthesize complex contract information and legal precedents.
• Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
• Stay updated on legal developments and trends within the energy sector.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3+ years of experience working on construction contracts of various types.
• Demonstrated experience managing a team and collaborating with senior attorneys.
• Proven track record of strong drafting skills and contract analysis.
• Ability to analyze new information and adapt strategies accordingly.
• Interest in and knowledge of the energy industry and clients’ businesses.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the State Bar in Texas or eligibility to be admitted to the Texas Bar.
