A prestigious law firm located in Philadelphia, PA, is seeking an ERISA Associate Attorney with 3-4 years of experience to join its Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation Group. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of ERISA, the Internal Revenue Code, and other applicable employee benefits laws, specifically in matters related to executive compensation, qualified retirement plans, and health and welfare benefits. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where excellent drafting and communication skills are essential for success.

Duties:

• Advise clients on ERISA compliance and related employee benefits laws.
• Draft and review plan documents for qualified retirement plans and health and welfare benefits.
• Guide executive compensation arrangements, including deferred compensation and stock options.
• Assist in the preparation of filings with governmental agencies.
• Research legal issues affecting employee benefits.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to deliver high-quality legal services.
• Stay current on legislative changes and updates in employee benefits law.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the bar in the jurisdiction of practice.
• A minimum of 3-4 years of relevant experience in employee benefits law.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited institution.

Certifications:

• Active Bar membership in PA.

Skills:

• Proficiency in employee benefits law, particularly ERISA and the Internal Revenue Code.
• Strong drafting and legal research skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
