Duties:

  • Represent clients in litigation cases, including drafting and filing legal documents, conducting depositions, and managing discovery.
  • Develop and implement case strategies in alignment with clients' objectives.
  • Provide legal counsel and advice to clients regarding their cases.
  • Participate in settlement negotiations and alternative dispute resolution processes.
  • Conduct legal research and prepare briefs, motions, and other legal documents.
  • Attend court hearings, trials, and other legal proceedings.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and legal professionals to build strong case arguments.
  • Maintain case files and ensure compliance with court rules and procedures.
  • Stay current with changes in laws, regulations, and legal precedents relevant to practice areas.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2+ years of litigation experience, including 1-3 years in insurance defense.
  • Licensed to practice law in North Carolina.
  • Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
  • Proven experience in handling complex litigation cases.
  • Strong understanding of legal procedures, case law, and relevant regulations.

Education:

  • Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the North Carolina State Bar.

Skills:
