The candidate will work with partners in multiple offices on a wide range of insurance regulatory matters across all lines of insurance. Will collaborate with insurance companies, brokers, agents, and tech companies from around the world. Provide effective and reliable legal services to clients and supervising attorneys. Research insurance laws, regulations, and case law and provide detailed guidance and analysis to partners and clients. Draft memoranda on discrete legal issues. Draft transaction agreements and documents with efficiency and clarity. Manage transaction closings and processes. Provide thorough factual and legal research and analysis. Competently and professionally communicate with clients and supervising attorneys. Complete tasks efficiently. Should have specific insurance industry regulatory and transactional experience, including transactional drafting, reinsurance negotiation, and regulatory research skills. Must be and remain licensed to practice law and in good standing in Illinois.
