Job Title: General Liability Attorney

Job Overview: A distinguished law firm in Mount Laurel, NJ seeks experienced General Liability Attorneys. This role involves handling a variety of cases within insurance defense litigation. Ideal candidates will possess strong trial skills, be highly motivated, and have exceptional attention to detail, communication abilities, and organizational expertise.

Duties:

• Manage and litigate a caseload involving insurance defense matters such as commercial auto, trucking, and premises liability.
• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and other court documents.
• Represent clients in court, including handling jury trials.
• Collaborate with legal teams to develop case strategies.
• Engage in settlement discussions and negotiations when appropriate.
• Maintain thorough case documentation and client communication.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of litigation experience in New Jersey, with a focus on general liability cases.
• Proven jury trial experience.
• An active license to practice law in New Jersey is maintained in good standing.
• Previous experience in insurance defense litigation.
• Familiarity with insurance coverage is preferred but not mandatory.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active membership with the New Jersey Bar.
