Job Overview: A highly regarded law firm is seeking an experienced Employment Litigation Associate for its Jacksonville office. This role involves defending employers in a variety of employment-related lawsuits and agency matters, providing strategic counsel, and representing clients in court, arbitration, and mediation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in employment law or commercial litigation, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage complex cases in a fast-paced environment. This position offers the opportunity to work with a national firm known for its expertise in labor and employment law.

Duties:

• Defend employers in litigation involving employment-related claims and discrimination charges
• Advise and counsel employers on employment and labor law matters
• Represent clients in court, administrative hearings, arbitration, and mediation
• Handle class and collective actions, as well as claims related to discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and employment contracts
• Provide training to employers on compliance and legal risks

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in employment or commercial litigation
• Background in employment law is preferred
• Active Florida Bar admission in good standing
• Strong understanding of state and federal agency procedures
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
• Dedication to professionalism and collaboration within a team setting

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active member of the Florida Bar
