Associate Attorney needed for Delray Beach office

A law firm based in Delray Beach, FL, is seeking a skilled Associate Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate will focus on collection and litigation matters, managing cases from demand through judgment. This role requires strong written, analytical, and oral advocacy skills, with responsibilities including handling court hearings, preparing and arguing motions, and managing a diverse caseload. The position offers the flexibility of remote work and is suitable for a proactive individual capable of thriving in a dynamic legal environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Handle breach of contract and collection litigation matters from demand through judgment.
• Attend court hearings, both telephonic and in-person.
• Prepare and argue Motions for Summary Judgment.
• Manage an assigned caseload to achieve goals and meet client expectations.
• Address escalated and time-sensitive matters as needed.
• Perform additional duties and special projects as required.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
• Admission to practice law in the state of California; multi-jurisdictional admission in AZ, CA, NV, and TX is preferred but not required.
• Experience with the Fair Debt Collections Practices Act (FDCPA) and Article 9 of the Uniform Commercial Code (UCC) is a plus.
