Location:

Duties:

• Handle complex products liability litigation cases in state and federal courts.
• Draft legal briefs, correspondence, and responses to written discovery.
• Conduct depositions, oral arguments, and expert interviews.
• Manage document collection, review, and production.
• Analyze causation and failure analysis related to product defects.
• Assist in managing multidistrict litigation (MDL) and/or coordinated state proceedings.
• Collaborate with colleagues across departments and offices, contributing to case strategy and execution.
• Maintain regular communication with clients regarding case progress and strategy.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in products liability litigation.
• Experience in drafting legal documents, conducting depositions, and managing discovery.
• Strong background in causation/failure analysis and multistate/multidistrict litigation preferred.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong case management and organizational skills.
• Team-oriented with a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
• Active membership in the California State Bar.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admitted to practice law in California.

Skills:

• Strong litigation and trial skills.
• Excellent writing and legal research capabilities.
• Experience in managing large, complex cases with multiple stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
