Duties:

• Advise employers on various aspects of employment law, including discrimination, retaliation, trade secret misappropriation, and wage and hour violations.
• Provide counsel on employment matters such as employee discipline, policy creation, and internal investigations.
• Manage the employment-related litigation process, including drafting motions and preparing for depositions.
• Collaborate with team members while independently managing projects.
• Conduct research and provide analytical support on legal issues.

Requirements:

• 2-5 years of experience in labor and employment law.
• Deep understanding of employment litigation and counseling.
• Experience managing litigation from discovery through trial is preferred.
• Familiarity with the deposition process is required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Education:

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school with a strong academic record.

Certifications:

• Admission to the New York State Bar is required.
