Job Overview: A law firm specializing in construction labor law litigation seeks a highly motivated and experienced Construction Labor Law Litigation Associate Attorney to join its dynamic team in New York City. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in general litigation, focusing on construction labor law.

Job Duties:

• Manage and handle complex litigation matters related to construction labor law from inception through trial.
• Prepare pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
• Conduct legal research, analysis, and drafting of memoranda.
• Manage discovery processes, including drafting and responding to discovery requests, conducting document reviews, and preparing witnesses for depositions.
• Represent clients in court proceedings, including hearings and trials.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in general litigation, with specific experience in construction labor law preferred.
• Admission to the New York State Bar in good standing.
• Strong understanding of New York Labor Law and relevant statutes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
