Duties and Responsibilities:

• Review and analyze insurance policies to determine coverage.
• Handle and manage insurance claims for policyholders.
• Litigate insurance coverage disputes in various forums.
• Draft and negotiate contractual indemnity and insurance provisions.
• Provide legal advice on insurance coverage and related issues.
• Collaborate with clients and other stakeholders to resolve coverage issues.
• Stay current with developments in insurance law and policy changes.
• Assist with construction insurance coverage and corporate transactional work as needed.

Requirements:

• 1-5 years of experience in insurance coverage matters.
• Experience representing policyholders in insurance-related disputes and claims.
• Strong familiarity with insurance policies and coverage issues.
• Proven ability to analyze complex insurance issues and provide effective solutions.
• Excellent analytical, writing, and communication skills.
• Experience with construction insurance coverage and corporate transactional work is a plus.
• A New York Bar license is required.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the New York State Bar (required).
