A law firm is seeking a diligent and proficient Associate Attorney to join their team in Walnut Creek, CA. The ideal candidate will have experience in litigation, a strong understanding of workers' compensation law, and excellent research, writing, and analytical skills. The candidate will be responsible for conducting legal research, drafting pleadings and motions, managing caseloads, attending hearings, and collaborating with the legal team.

Duties:

• Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategies.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
• Manage caseloads efficiently with attention to detail.
• Attend court hearings and represent clients in various legal proceedings.
• Provide support to senior attorneys in case preparation and strategy.
• Collaborate with the legal team to ensure effective case management.
• Communicate effectively with clients, providing updates and addressing concerns.
• Maintain accurate and organized case files and documentation.

Requirements:

• Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage caseloads efficiently with attention to detail.
• Strong responsiveness, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Understanding of workers' compensation law.
• Experience in litigation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the State Bar of California (required).
