This role is centered on representing clients in bankruptcy cases, including Chapter 11 filings and corporate restructurings. Key Responsibilities

  • Advocate for clients in bankruptcy-related matters, including reorganization under Chapter 11 and business restructurings.
  • Draft, review, and refine a variety of legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs, with a focus on clarity and accuracy.
  • Conduct detailed legal research to develop strategies and strengthen case positions.
  • Provide counsel and guidance to businesses facing financial challenges, including insolvency or debt restructuring.
  • Support senior attorneys in preparing for court appearances, negotiations, and hearings related to bankruptcy proceedings.
  • Assist with commercial litigation cases and handle disputes involving contracts, business relationships, or financial claims.

Required Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from a recognized law school.
  • Active license to practice law in the state of Texas.
  • A minimum of one year of bankruptcy law experience, emphasizing Chapter 11 cases or business restructuring.
  • Strong written communication and legal analysis skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Exposure to or a background in commercial litigation, including contract disputes and financial claims.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced legal environment.
