Duties:

• Manage all aspects of civil litigation, including case strategy, discovery, depositions, and trials.
• Review and produce documents related to ongoing cases.
• Draft and respond to written discovery, motions, and other legal documents.
• Conduct legal research and prepare detailed memoranda.
• Represent clients in court, during settlement negotiations, and alternative dispute resolution processes.
• Maintain strong communication with clients and internal teams, ensuring all case details are properly handled.
• Stay up to date with developments in relevant case law and industry regulations.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in civil litigation with a focus on commercial general liability.
• Strong background in case management, including document production, law and motion work, and legal research.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to handle multiple cases simultaneously and work independently.
• Track record of successful representation in court and settlement proceedings.
• High attention to detail and organizational skills.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admitted to the California State Bar (Required).

Skills:

• Proficient in legal research and using research tools such as Westlaw or LexisNexis.
• Exceptional legal writing and document drafting abilities.
• Strong oral advocacy skills, including experience with depositions and court appearances.
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
