Mid-level Associate Attorney - Finance

Profile

A law firm seeks a highly qualified midlevel associate to join their finance practice group in Los Angeles. The successful candidate will focus primarily on asset-based lending while also engaging in tech lending, acquisition financing, and venture lending.

Duties:

• Handle asset-based lending transactions and associated legal documentation.
• Assist in tech lending initiatives, including recurring revenue financing.
• Manage acquisition and leveraged financing transactions.
• Draft, review, and negotiate finance agreements and related documents.
• Conduct thorough due diligence and analysis for financing transactions.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and clients to develop effective legal strategies.
• Maintain organized files and documentation for all transactions.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• A minimum of three years of transactional finance experience in a law firm setting.
• Active membership in the California State Bar is required.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited institution.

Certifications:

• Current membership in the California State Bar.
