A law firm in New York City is seeking a Mid-level Commercial Litigation Associate Attorney with strong experience in commercial litigation. The ideal candidate should possess excellent academic credentials, exceptional writing and analytical skills, and be prepared to take on significant responsibility in managing cases and engaging with clients, opposing counsel, and courts.

Duties:

• Manage all aspects of commercial litigation matters, including legal research, drafting pleadings, motions, and briefs, discovery, and trial preparation.
• Conduct and defend depositions, hearings, and mediations.
• Communicate effectively with clients to provide updates and strategic advice.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and partners on case strategy and client counseling.
• Handle a diverse caseload spanning various industries and types of disputes.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the New York State Bar, active and in good standing.
• 4-6 years of experience in commercial litigation at a reputable law firm.
• Judicial clerkship experience preferred but not required.
• Excellent academic credentials with a strong record of achievement.

Education:

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications (Preferred):

Judicial clerkship experience is preferred.
