Duties:

• Represent clients in complex financing transactions, including private equity financing, acquisition financing, strategic debt financing, asset-based lending, and other debt transactions.
• Deliver high-quality work-product and effectively communicate with clients and colleagues at all levels.
• Demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills and enthusiasm for counseling clients within the relevant industry sectors.
• Exhibit highly responsive, creative, and efficient work habits.
• Continuously strive to improve knowledge, skills, and abilities, and seek guidance and feedback for performance improvement.
• Take responsibility for enhancing expertise through formal and informal training.
• Build strong relationships with clients and colleagues within the firm.
• Contribute to business development efforts by networking with existing clients and pursuing new opportunities.

Requirements:

• 4-6 years of experience in corporate finance transactions within a law firm.
• Ability to organize and prioritize tasks efficiently under significant time constraints.
• Strong interpersonal, analytical, organizational, and communication skills (both written and verbal).
• J.D. degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Licensed attorney in Illinois, in good standing, or ability to waive into either jurisdiction.
• Willingness to travel as client needs require.

Education:

• J.D. degree from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Licensed attorney in Illinois, in good standing (or ability to waive into either jurisdiction).

Skills:

• Experience with corporate finance transactions, including debt and equity financing.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• High attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
