Associate Attorney - Medical Malpractice

Profile

A law firm seeks a dedicated Associate Attorney for its Professional Liability Department. The ideal candidate will possess 4 to 8 years of litigation experience, particularly in medical malpractice cases, a strong academic background, and exceptional advocacy skills.

Duties:

• Represent clients in medical malpractice litigation and related matters.
• Prepare and draft legal documents, including pleadings and discovery requests.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategies.
• Advocate on behalf of clients in court and during settlement negotiations.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case plans and manage client communications.

Requirements:

• 4 to 8 years of experience in litigation, preferably in medical malpractice.
• Strong academic credentials and legal writing abilities.
• Previous judicial clerkship experience is a plus.
• Must be licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active Pennsylvania bar admission is required.
