Job Overview:
A law firm seeks an experienced Associate Attorney to join its team in Philadelphia, PA. This role requires a dedicated, proactive individual to collaborate with the firm’s managing attorneys and support staff, offering an excellent opportunity to engage deeply in diverse personal injury cases within Complex Civil Litigation. Duties:

• Manage a high-volume caseload in personal injury litigation, overseeing each phase from pre-trial to settlement or trial.
• Develop and execute strategic legal action plans tailored to each case.
• Draft and file a variety of legal documents, including pleadings, discovery requests, and responses.
• Conduct depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and other court-related appearances.
• Participate in negotiations to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.

Requirements:

• Valid Bar License in Pennsylvania (New Jersey license preferred).
• 3–5 years of litigation experience in a similar environment.
• Proven ability to conduct comprehensive legal research, identifying relevant cases and statutes.
• Track record of managing cases independently, focusing on quality and efficiency.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the Pennsylvania Bar (required).
• Admission to the New Jersey Bar (preferred but not mandatory).

Skills:

• Strong legal research and analytical skills to identify and apply legal precedents.
• Proficiency in drafting complex legal briefs, motions, and other pleadings.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• She/he is Skilled in negotiation and mediation techniques.
• Ability to take proactive ownership of cases, pushing them toward timely resolutions.
