Job Overview: A law firm in Tallahassee, FL, is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Workers' Compensation Associate Attorney to join their team. The successful candidate will manage their own caseload, work closely with an experienced Partner to develop and implement litigation strategies, and deliver exceptional service to clients. Strong writing skills and experience in reviewing medical records are strongly preferred. The role demands a solid work ethic, the ability to work independently, and ideally, some experience in virtual work or schooling environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a caseload of Workers' Compensation claims from inception to resolution.
• Collaborate with an experienced Partner to devise and execute effective litigation strategies.
• Review and analyze medical records and legal documents to support case preparation.
• Draft, review, and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and correspondence with accuracy.
• Represent clients in administrative hearings, depositions, and other legal proceedings.
• Maintain consistent communication with clients, opposing counsel, and court officials to ensure smooth case progression.
• Stay updated on Workers' Compensation laws, regulations, and industry developments.
• Ensure compliance with legal and procedural requirements.
• Provide exceptional client service through timely updates and proactive problem-solving.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Florida Bar and active membership in good standing.
• Minimum of 3 years of Workers' Compensation defense experience preferred.
• Strong writing skills with experience in reviewing medical records.
• Ability to work independently and effectively manage a caseload.
• Experience working or schooling in a virtual environment preferred.
• Demonstrated strong work ethic and attention to detail.

Education and Certifications:

• Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Florida Bar and maintained membership in good standing.

Skills:
