A law firm in Atlanta, GA, is seeking a Consumer Financial Services Associate Attorney with 3-5 years of state and federal court litigation experience. The ideal candidate should possess excellent academic and professional credentials, superior research and writing ability, strong analytical skills, and excellent communication skills. Clerkship experience is preferred. Additionally, the candidate must be admitted and actively barred in the state in which they live and also be actively barred in California.

Duties:

• Represent clients in consumer financial services litigation matters in both state and federal courts.
• Conduct legal research, analysis, and provide effective legal counsel to clients.
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and other court filings.
• Prepare and present cases in court, including arguing motions and conducting trials.
• Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on regulatory compliance in the consumer financial services sector.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys, partners, and clients to develop case strategies and objectives.
• Maintain organized case files, records, and documentation.
• Stay updated on changes in consumer financial services laws and regulations.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of state and federal court litigation experience.
• California Bar admission.
• Must have excellent academic and professional credentials.
• Superior research and writing ability.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Preferred: Clerkship experience.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission and active bar membership in the state where the candidate resides.
• Active bar membership in California.

Skills:
