The Team
Global Cyber Security Office – The Global CSO’s mission is to mitigate cyber security risk by actively working with the CBRE business, Digital & Technology and other partner organizations (Compliance, Risk Mgmt., Audit, & Legal) to seamlessly integrate security processes, tools, and people into the business culture providing a holistic security ecosystem, driving continuous improvements and seamless protection / monitoring capabilities globally.
Key Responsibilities
• Will be assigned project-focused opportunities as a Cyber Security Intern and work with one of our professional teams
• This is a hands-on opportunity to gain practical experience in a dynamic and growing industry
• Participate in projects for code security, application security testing, and cloud security automation.
• Interface with team members and partners of varied levels from across the organization to understand business requirements are met without compromising security
• Monitor, identify, report, security weaknesses
• Scripting, coding, and task automation for security tasks
• Assist in creating/editing documentation of policies and operating procedures
Required Knowledge and Skills
• Basic knowledge of Information Security
• Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills while developing inter-departmental communication skills
• Ability to work with company cyber security initiatives
• Ability to work with large amounts of data
• Ability to learn various incident response processes and new tools
• Expand business awareness and technical knowledge
Qualifications and Education:
• 18 Years of Age
• Rising Junior, Senior or Graduate Student. Preferred majors: Information Security, Cybersecurity, Information Technology or Computer Science
• Minimum 3.0 GPA
