Vendor Procurement & Management Specialist
Duties: Infuse the Patch Values into your work ethic, every day and every interaction. Establish and manage an interdependent workflow process, methodology and policies for obtaining and managing vendor relationships. Proactively lead and manage day to day vendor procurement and relationship management. Drive cost savings in direct and indirect third-party spend. Establish and document scalable and robust procurement processes. Implement and maintain proper internal controls in the purchase-to-pay area. Lead vendor engagement processes including conducting vendor due diligence, contract review, negotiations and management across a variety of categories – with a focus on SaaS, technology, product development, marketing technical support, and data privacy. Drive contract renewals, business stakeholder management, and related project initiatives Manage budgets and other financials to support vendor operations. Support the business by developing requirements for service level agreements, key performance indicators and business operation reviews. Coordinate end-to-end sign-off across stakeholders during the procurement and management process. Partner with Legal, Compliance and Security Teams to ensure vendor compliance with federal and state laws, and other organization requirements. Collaborate across teams to establish procurement policies and procedures. Develop and implement mechanisms to communicate risks, insights and build consensus on solutions. Seek and implement continuous process improvements within the vendor procurement and management program. Manage and review agreements for renewal dates and obligations. Assist with contractual data verification, process establishment and tracking. Conduct due diligence on vendors. Process and handle client due diligence requests. Identify possible areas of vendor risk and work to minimize that risk. Process information and data for vendors in the vendor management system. Manage company relations with vendors and ensure vendors meet contract requirements. Provide leadership in strengthening internal communications with staff at all levels throughout the organization. Create and promote a positive and supportive work environment. Other projects and duties as assigned.
